I've been working in childcare for about seven years (unpaid). I volunteer at a summer camp each summer and I have worked with children from age 3-10. During the day we would have "classes" where the children would sit down and learn what the teacher was saying. I was there to assist them in staying on task and focused, and in case something happened to one of the children. We would also prepare and help the children with crafts. Aside from that, I have babysat for my nephews when they were 3 & 5. I am currently a college freshman, studying music and fashion. I love everything to do with art, teaching, learning, and spending time outside. I'm looking for a temporary gig, date night sitter, part-time gig, or as needed. My schedule is fairly flexible and I am willing to discuss further details if needed! I am most comfortable with the gentle parenting approach, and am looking forward to further my experience in childcare.
