Laughter and fun are tool I use everyday to connect to people. I've worked with kids and adults with different abilities through Northwest Special Recreations through summer camp, recreational programs, and transportation. Over the last year, I was the executive director of a teen center in Crystal Lake, and I worked with my staff on recreational and educational programs - lots of energy and interesting issues and challenges. I was my mom's caretaker for the last three years of her life. Dementia, loss of movement, help with PT/OT, self care, the whole package.
