This is the background check we require for all caregivers.
Experience: 10 yrs
For the last seven, wonderful years, I had the privilege of being a nanny to two incredible girls, helping guide them through their early years with care, creativity, patience, and lots of love. Duties included, light house keeping, laundry, lunch, driving to and from activities, and more. Prior to this I was a nanny to a 3-month-old boy for two years until he attended preschool. I worked as a Certified Occupational therapy assistant in nursing homes for 10 years prior to becoming a stay at home mom. I worked with patients to achieve Independence. I performed ADL training, strengthening, balance and transfer training, as well as positioning. I worked with a variety of patients such as stroke, hip fractures, Parkinson's and more. Now, I'm excited to bring that same dedication, adaptability, and nurturing energy into a new role where I can continue making a meaningful impact. I END MY CURRENT JOB THE BEGINNING OF SEPTEMBER

Maggie had additional commentary on top of her review above (I'm dad): "Jen has been with our family for the past seven years, ever since we moved to the area and our oldest daughter was just one year old. She has lovingly supported our family through so many important phases—potty training, sleep training, and all the ups and downs of early childhood. When our second daughter was born at the height of COVID, Jen was an absolute rock for our family. She’s not only an incredible caregiver but someone who consistently goes above and beyond. Whether it’s helping with laundry, swapping out seasonal clothes for the girls, or jumping in with other little tasks, Jen has always been happy to lend a hand so I could be the best mom I can be after a long workday. Most importantly, Jen has truly become a part of our family. Our daughters adore her, and it’s hard to imagine our home without her presence. The only reason we’re parting ways is because our youngest is starting full-time school this fall. Any family would be lucky to have Jen. She brings warmth, reliability, and so much love to everything she does. We’ll miss her dearly!" My own additions: Jen has been an extension of our family, without a doubt. She's included in our birthday parties, our casual get-togethers, the girls' events, and the like. I can tell how seriously she takes her role in caring for my daughters and there is a mutual love and affection. She spends days playing dolls and games and blowing bubbles and bouncing on the trampoline. The girls are often bummed when it's the weekend, because it means they probably won't see Jen until Monday! She'll be greatly missed in our home and will surely bring a similar experience to her next family.
