About Jennifer

Hi! I am a joyful and experienced educator and caregiver, with a Ph. D in education, teaching experience, an a published book on child development. My personality is upbeat, energetic, positive, playful, warm, friendly and very nurturing. I have worked with children for 20+ years, and have never met a child I didn't absolutely love. I am athletic, health-conscious, well-educated, well-traveled and fluent in Spanish. I have also raised a beautiful, happy son who attends High School and now lives with his father. I also appreciate the demands of being a mom. So you can expect full support from me, including all the extras like getting your child where they need to be, making sure they are eating well, paying attention to their health and well-being, supporting homework, nurturing self-esteem, helping them form and navigate friendships, and, where applicable, supporting healthy sibling dynamics. Also completely comfortable with any type of pet. Love animals!
