I believe that every child possesses unique talents and gifts. Those with special needs are often more determined and have to work harder than those without special needs. I hold a bachelor's degree in Psychology, a master's in Elementary Education, and certification in Early Childhood Education. I have worked for 10 years in the education field. As a teacher's assistant at a private elementary school, I worked extensively with children learning disabilities, ADHD, OCD, anxiety issues, and mild autism. I also have a child with Type I Diabetes. As a GED Instructor, I helped students, often with learning disabilities, master necessary skills in order to obtain their GED on the first attempt.
