About Jennifer

I'd describe my personality as energetic, conscientious, and agreeable. I like working with kids because every day is a unique adventure and kids have matchless, energy, an enthusiasm for life, and an eagerness to learn. I started working with kids when I was 12 and began babysitting. Since then I have worked in the church nursery and taught Sunday school from pre-k through jr high. I was a foster mom for many years and have fostered 58 youth. In my spare time, I like to read, Bible Study, watch sports, and do word puzzles. One thing you should know about me is I am an avid KU and KC Chiefs and Royals fan! My skills include listening to understand, teaching how to recognize and express emotions calmly, playing or singing to learn.
