About Jennifer

Hello! I am a 22-year-old UC Davis student who is very committed to serving others through compassionate care and dignity. I have been an IHSS provider for my total-care and brain-injured sister since I was 17. My 5 years of experience has equipped me with skills such as medication administration via feeding tubes, mobility aide, transfers + hoyer lift use, contracture prevention range of motion, perineal/bathroom care, ostomy management, and management of medical equipment related to ventilators and feeding tubes. Prior to this experience, I cared for my hypertensive and diabetic grandmother who required insulin injections, blood sugar checks, and anti-hypertensive medication administration. I am looking to serve others in a way that can allow me to balance being a student. And I'm comfortable with most tasks and am open to learning, especially if they're medical related. However, to be upfront, cooking or driving isn't a strength of mine.
