I am a licensed special education teacher and board certified behavior analyst, with over 15 years experience in education. For the past two years I have worked as a special education liaison for kindergarten and first grade students, but I also have experience working with infants, and older children. I am comfortable working with individuals with cognitive and physical disabilities, and have experience working with individuals with ASD, seizure disorders, and neurobehavioral disorders. I love to plan activities to keep children engaged and to foster a love for learning. I am happy to organize trips to the local library, museums, or park. I also love planning arts and crafts or sensory activities. I don't mind helping out with laundry or meal prep for the children, and am very comfortable around dogs or other pets! In my free time I love to read, hike, and spend time with family and friends. I am looking for a long term position and my schedule can be flexible.
