About Jennifer

I have been tutoring in math for five years, with students ages 7-15. I also was an assistant and substitute ballet teacher for two years, for students ages 5-13. And for one summer I worked at Mad Science summer camp! But I also have three brothers and 17 cousins and counting: and being on the older end of my family, I've been around kids my whole life! I’d describe my personality as resourceful, open minded, and curious. I like working with kids because I believe children learn through every experience they have as they develop into their future selves. As an avidly academic and creative person, I love to watch children engaging with what they themselves show interest in, and helping them learn about themselves through these things. I think learning is cool, and when given the opportunity to learn in their own way and about their own interests, I find that most children agree with me.
