About Jennifer

I like caring for seniors because I enjoy hearing their stories, learning about them and helping them to maintain their independence because I believe home is best. I'm looking for a job that that is family orientated, allows me to take my person outside even for short walks, has a sense of humor. I started caring for seniors back in 2006. I started off as an HHA Belle moving on to a local hospital then became a CNA, where I worked both Rehab and LTC. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, take child friendly hikes, travel, garden and crafts. One thing you should know about me is I'm timely and I enjoy getting to know my clients and their families. I believe family input is important as they know their family members best. I'm very much client/patent orientated so I prefer to do things within their routine as this limits stress and frustration. My skills include ability to do ostomy bags, blood glucose testing and medication reminders
