About Jennifer

I'm a passionate caregiver with a love for reading, education, and personal development. In undergrad, I spent a joyous summer working in a Baptist church childcare program. Alongside my coworker, we cared for classrooms of children under the age of 5 and navigated the both unexpected and exhilarating twists that accompany working with young people. Before that summer, I worked as a lifeguard at a country club and loved getting to know the families who frequented the pool. I took pride in my responsibility to their safety, and maintain my love for swimming today. After working full time as an athletic trainer in a clinic and at a high school, I made the conscious decision to pursue furthering my education. I am currently working on finishing my pre-requisites for medical school as a part-time student. I live locally with my husband, dog, and cat. I am a proud aunt to 8 children, 5 of whom live in town.
