In my lifetime I have been the proud mother to many different breeds of dogs, over 20 cats, a couple of mice and rats, a frog, many fresh water fish, a potbelly pig, a cockatoo, a handful of hamsters, a hermit crab, a chameleon, and a beautiful ball python. I was even lucky enough to care for a litter of bat pups once. Additionally, I used to work at PetSmart as an animal care specialist. My job was to care for the animals both in store and in the Banfield pet hospital. I was responsible for cleaning habitats, feeding, handling, and administering medication.
