About Jennifer

Hi families! My name is Jennifer and I'm available for part-time evening childcare, with potential summer availability. Calm and kind; patient, playful, and confident, I create a nurturing environment. My passion for kids led me to a 20+ year career in education after earning a business degree and teaching certificate (2002), plus a master's in education. I've taught 4th/5th grade, subbed all grades, and currently support families in my district as an engagement specialist. Mom of three (16, 13, 11) and a Labradoodle, I enjoy family time, reading, nature walks, and travel. I understand child development deeply, with experience from infants to teens. I've led family workshops on emotional regulation, growth mindset, and executive functioning. My childcare strengths: connection, attentiveness, meeting developmental needs, and healthy boundaries.
