About Jennifer

Hi there! I am a personable, communicative, positive and warm individual with a combined 12 years of child care and educational experience serving students in both traditional and Special Education settings. I recently resigned from a NYC teaching position as a high school Special Education Teacher, and am proud to say I created a safe, warm, and fun classroom environment through building and fostering positive individual relationships with my students. I have taught at all age levels, and as the oldest within both sides of my family, I have had plenty of sitting and tutoring experience between my cousins and their friends. I know my calling is taking care of and aiding children as they grow and develop, and hope to continue to do so in a sitter/childcare position. Depending on the needs of your family, I am willing to carpool, run errands, do light housekeeping, laundry, and other such things. I just ask that we discuss expectations beforehand!
