About Jennifer
At the age of 9 I was tasked with being the personal aid of my visually impaired grandmother. We couldn't afford someone to help so in between my parent's shifts, I'd help with morning and evening routines that included: managing medication, re-heating meals in the microwave and walking her to and from the bathroom, bedroom and different areas in the house. I also helped with my other elderly grandmother at the age of 21 as we transitioned through her hospice stage.
