During the time Jennifer worked in my home, she was always respectful, reliable, and pleasant to be around. I trusted her completely with the care of my grandparents as well as to be around my young children in the home. Jennifer became a part of my family and I highly recommend her to anyone in need of an in-home health aid and caregiver with Certified Nursing Assistance (CNA) experience. Jennifer worked for 8 months in my home caring for both my grandmother and grandfather, from October 2023 until June 2024. She provided total care (all Activities of Daily Living) for my grandmother, who suffers from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), which both physically and mentally disabled my grandmother. Jennifer provided the following care to my grandmother: -got her into and out of bed -took her to the restroom and provided full toileting assistance -assisted her with eating -transferred her to chairs and couches -performed daily hygiene routine, including brushing, flossing, nail, face, and hair care -dispensed medication (presorted in daily pill boxes) and Tylenol as needed for pain management -bathed her -dressed her -changed incontinence products -prepared meals -performed light household cleaning -facilitated exercise routine as directed by physical therapist -mediated conflicts between grandparents (as a result of grandfather being hard of hearing and grandmother having difficulty communicating/speaking) -soothed grandmother during dementia episodes of irritation/agitation/confusion Jennifer provided medication management, meal preparation, basic hygiene assistance, and transportation for my grandfather. When my grandmother’s needs progressed beyond what could be provided in the home. Jennifer provided valuable insight as we searched for assisted living facilities and help to make the transition as smooth as possible. We could not have done it without her. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of an in-home health aid and caregiver with Certified Nursing Assistance (CNA) experience.
