About Jenna

Hi, I'm Jenna! I'm a senior Education major at Champlain College. As an Education major, I have experience teaching in a middle school, high school, and I currently babysit a 6-year-old and 8-year-old in Burlington! This past summer, I worked as a camp counselor at Pierce Camp Birchmont, where I lived in a cabin with 12 girls ages 11-12 for 8 weeks and was solely responsible for all 12 children one day and three nights a week. My job responsibilities included teaching daily yoga and meditation classes to children ages 6-16. During my time at Pierce Camp Birchmont, I was also selected by the director of the camp to escort two departing children through Boston Logan Airport where I was the sole adult responsible. In my spare time, I like to create art and write poetry. I'm an RA at Champlain College for freshmen students, and I enjoy hosting various hall events and acting as a supportive resource. I'm also vegan and care deeply about animals and the environment. :)
