About Jenna

I am a science educator with a doctoral degree in Earth Sciences. Much of my background focuses on science education and communication, and I have formal classroom experience in elementary, middle, highschool, and college settings. This background has prepared me to work with all students in STEM subjects, academic writing, college preparation and more! I like tutoring because I love inspiring curiosity in learners of all ages, and encouraging new growth and exploration. I have been tutoring on and off for more than 10 years. I was the student that my peers came to for help, and since then I have been working with learners of all ages to expand their critical thinking skills and understanding across many topics. In my spare time, I like to play with my dog Zest and sew quilts!
