About Jenna

Childcare has always felt more like "fun" and less like "work" for me! I started as a summer camp counselor in 2017 (YMCA Camp Ingersoll - Portland, CT) and returned for 6 summers after that. I am most comfortable with kids 6 or younger, but am open to all ages! I recently moved to NYC from my hometown in CT after graduating from an Accelerated BSN program at Quinnipiac University. I have a lot of availability until I start my career as a Registered Nurse in the ICU at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell in a few months! Before nursing school, I was a nursing assistant for 2. 5 years (1 yr in Med-Surg, 1. 5 yrs in the Emergency Room). A little more about myself: - LOVE dogs! Allergic to cats :( - My first Bachelor's degree was in Exercise Science at Gannon University in Erie, PA - I did gymnastics for 16 years growing up and continued in Acrobatics & Tumbling for my collegiate career - I am a part-time assistant coach at Iona University with their Acrobatics & Tumbling team
