Hello, I'm Jay! I have been caring for children through care. com for about 8 years, ranging from 3 months old to 12 years old. I have experience with infants, toddlers, toddler multiples, and large groups of various ages. As a classical musician and nature lover, I enjoy introducing children to music, playing outside, and most any craft project. I think it's important to spend quality time with the children I'm watching, while also allowing them time to think for themselves. I think it's important to have communication with parents about a typical schedule throughout the day, so the little ones are always getting what they need and bedtime goes smoothly for everyone. Outside of this, I do nature videography online! Meaning, my schedule is extremely flexible. I'm looking for around 3-4 days each week, but can be very, very accommodating to hours being extended if extra help is needed! If we sound like a good match, feel free to reach out!

Jenna started taking care of our son when he was 3 months old. We have had her for the last 9 months (through his first birthday) and she has been amazing. She has been with us for various stages and changes in development and schedule. When we were going through sleep training Jenna watched all the videos to be able to help us with the process. We were very nervous with having a stranger come into our house and take care of our new born while my wife and I were working however Jenna made us feel comfortable right away. She has been instrumental in the development of our son for his first year of life. She is so good with playing with him, teaching him new things, playing music with him, reading him books, and much more. She puts him down for his naps, feeds him (including BLW/solids), cleans his bottles, changes diapers, etc. She also takes our son on walks and into shops to explore. Every morning when she comes in our son smiles and crawls straight to her. Jenna is also very good with our dog. She'll even do some training like making our dog sit away from the highchair while our son is eating. We couldn't be happier with her. She is also extremely reliable and flexible. She shows up everyday at the same exact time which puts us at ease going into our busy weeks. Whoever gets to have Jenna next will be so happy to have her. We will miss her so much!!! But will continue to have her in our sons life. Thank you for everything!
