Hi! :) I would like to thank you for considering me for your child. I have worked in the childcare world since I was 14 years old and the special needs CLS world for about 5 years now. I was a director of a daycare when one of the children I had become close to had a little sister born. Well she just happened to be blessed with an extra chromosome and stole my heart. I have taught her everything from sign language and walking, talking, and potty training and now that she is 7 and in school, we work on reading and writing and math. We have both worked really hard and as a big 2nd grader now she is rocking school with an average level IQ! I still work with her from 3-8 Monday through Friday but would love a chance to get your little genius started early before those hours or even after if you work late. I am always open to a weekend play date! I have been in college going for my social work degree for a few years now and am 3 semesters shy. I plan on completing it as soon as I can financially pay. I have worked with several special needs including down syndrome, autism, CP. I would love the chance to get to know your child and his or her unique abilities. Thanks:)
