About Jen

I have over 20 years experience, from infants through 17-year-olds (starting at 18 but babysitting before then). I've worked for churches, preschools, and in private homes. Currently, I care for a family, part time. This family has a 1-year-old and 3. 5-year-old and I've been with them 2. 5 years. I love being outside, arts and crafts, getting down on the floor and being silly, reading, music, or motivating autonomous play. It's very important to me that the parents and I are on the same page in every aspect of care. Everyone should be happy and comfortable! I am fully vaccinated, including flu, Covid, and TDAP, CPR+ certified, college educated with courses in early childhood development and child psychology, have a safe vehicle with insurance and a clean record, non-smoker, and animal friendly. I am part of a city-wide nanny group and take continuing education classes regularly. Also, I can help light meal prep, cook for the child, and clean child related tasks.
