About Jenessa

My journey in caregiving began with fulfilling babysitting roles, coaching rolls, where I discovered my passion for supporting families and making a positive impact on children's lives. My patient and calm nature, combined with my creative and imaginative spirit, allows me to connect with children on a meaningful level. I believe in open and honest communication with parents, ensuring that they are regularly updated on their child's day and any matters that arise. While I firmly believe in the importance of structure and routine, I also understand the significance of flexibility and adapting to each child's unique needs. I follow the parents' lead in enforcing household rules, ensuring that consistency is maintained in the child's environment. I am a student at USM and on the field hockey team. I have 3 younger brothers ages 11-16 and one older brother that is 20. I love to work with kids and have worked as a substitute and ed-tech in an elementary school.
