About Jenelle

I come form a huge family where I was used to being the little cousin. Now, I'm the big cousin and an aunty! My goal is to always be a positive, healthy role model for kids, the kind I saw around me and wanted to emulate. With a natural affinity as a care-giver (aka the mom friend!), patience, empathy, and understanding are the foundation of my approach to childcare. I love pets! I currently have an orange and white tabby named Taz and a terrier mix named Jake. I've been around pets my whole life and can't imagine otherwise! During these unprecedented, unsure times, it can be hard for kids to adjust to online or hybrid classes. Structure, displince and balance are increasingly important! Throughout this challenging year, I've tutored 9th, 6th, 5th and 2nd graders patiently towards a successful end of semester, while maintaining an environment of fun and an attention to self care. No kid is too young to understand the benefit of a work-play balance!
