About Jena

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, critical thinker and professional I like caring for seniors because of their wisdom, experiences they've had and innocence. I currently care for elderly lady with dementia in her home. I prepare meals, light housekeeping, med mgmt, assessments, care plans, we sing songs together, etc. I'm looking for a job to utilize my skills and training helping elderly by providing safe, comfortable, enjoyable environment for my patients and families. To build a trustworthy relationship where patient knows I have their best interest at heart. Provide empathetic care with respect and dignity. I started caring for seniors when I became a nurse in 2001 at my first job where many patients were seniors. In my spare time, I like to read non-fiction books, I pamper my chi-weenie dog, I love to make fresh, home cooked meals and I love learning by researching about history during WWII and other historical events.
