About Jelena

I am 42 years old, married with children. I am former preschool teacher with 12 years of experience in in early childhood education/ preschool classroom setting. As a former Teacher, I was responsible to build a healthy and learning environment, to provide many learning opportunities for each child. I built warm connections with every child by using appropriate questions, and helped them express their thoughts and to use their speech to build better language and literacy skills. I used techniques to develop different hands-on activities that were stimulating children's minds. My biggest strengths are great organization, professional ability to communicate with children and families to promote new ways of learning and build a positive environment. I am bilingual with full fluency in Serbian, Bosnian and Croatian language, and with the basic knowledge of Russian. My passion is nature and outdoor activities as well as reading.
