I am a retired hairstylist of 35 years, and have always loved helping the elderly. I have been a senior caregiver for the last year for an employer with aggressive blood cancer. I recently quit doing that job, but still want to pursue caring for someone. I did many things in that job, such as companion, appointment making, transporting to and from Dr. appointments., light housekeeping, cooking, dressing, bathing, helping with medications, shopping, filling prescriptions. Pretty much all normal life activities. I feel the seniors have much to give and need someone that truly cares. I look forward to caring for your loved one. I am adding on to this profile, since in the last 6 months I have been caregiver for an 85-year-old woman , and she recently passed away. I did all things for her, , such as making her Dr. appts., hair appts., shopping for her, taking her to lunch and other social activities. I basically was involved in all aspects of her life.
