About Jeannine

I have been a teacher in NYC public schools for 10+ years as a special education teacher. During my tenure, I have worked with students ranging from grades 3-12 with disability classifications such as learning disabled, speech and language impaired, emotional disturbance, other health impairment, multiple disabilities, autism, and down syndrome. I have also studied applied behavior analysis and am well versed in strategies to target reading and math interventions, as well as teaching replacement behaviors. As an educator, I consider the whole child, practice positivity and patience, and push my students towards independence.
