About Jeannemarie

I have been a teacher for the last 27 years. Much of my experience has been as a reading specialist I have my masters degree +60 extra credits above that many of my credits were earned working on my practicum. I am a level two certified teacher in Wilson, which makes me a dyslexia practitioner. Students with dyslexia are extremely bright students that struggle with decoding and spelling many students with dyslexia also have attention issues. I have extensive experience working with students with all kinds of reading difficulties I'd describe my personality as kind, understanding, patient I like tutoring because I find great joy in helping students become proficient and confident in reading and writing skills. In my spare time, I like to ski with my two children, ride my bike, walk my dogs. I love spending time with my family. My skills include I provide assessment and base. Any lessons on student needs. I make my students feel very comfortable. And try to make it fun.
