About Jeanna

I have one 17-year-old son and I have cared for friends' and family members' children. I have cared for children as young as newborn to age 14. My son is an exceptional young man, partly due to my child rearing skills and fundamental beliefs in nurturing and intellectual stimulation. I always have focused on the need for fun, routines, and utilizing healthy corrective behaviors. Spanking--I simply do not believe in it. Further, I also believe children deserve healthy nutrition and physical activity. However, popcorn and movies are a must. When my son was allowed to watch very little television, especially when he was quite young. I believe that excessive tv watching impedes intellectual, social, and creative growth in children and can also contribute to child obesity. I used these same fundamental beliefs for my family and friends' children while also caring for them according to their parents' wishes. I'm a wonderful mom and a great caregiver.
