About Jean

I'd describe my personality as flexible, kind and hard-working I like tutoring because I love supporting children, using my 20+ years of teaching experience to help them succeed. I'm looking for a job that is consistent and local I started tutoring when I began teaching over 20 years ago. I stopped for several years while I was raising my children but now have time and energy to devote to it again. In my spare time, I like to hang out with my family and friends, exercise and read. Some things you should know about me is I have a dual certificate in Elementary and Special Education and have worked in co-taught settings. My skills include extensive knowledge of all elementary subject areas as well as specialized, current training in reading and writing instruction. Writing instruction is a strength of mine and I can also assist in building stronger study and organizational skills.
