About Jeanine

My name is Jeanine and I would like to give a brief introduction to myself as well as my qualifications. In 2007 I was accepted to the NYC Teaching Fellows where I earned a graduate degree in Education as well as Special Education. After my time teaching in Brooklyn, I worked as a substitute teacher on Long Island. Then after motherhood, I moved on to an organization where I worked as a "Peer Counselor". My years of experience, working with special needs clients have equipped me with the skills to foster a child's natural curiosity and creativity through play, exploration, and educational activities. I am talented in finding ways to make my clients feel comfortable and safe. I enforce household rules as per the parents or custodians there of. I am highly experienced in treating clients with understanding and empathy. I am looking forward to working with your loved one and helping to promote positive behaviors and learning experiences.
