About Jeanette

Hello, I was a Special Education teacher at the middle school level for 4 years and am in my 11th year working in a high school. I have an MA in Counseling and an MA in Special Education. I have experience teaching English and math at the middle school level, and primarily pre-algebra/Algebra 1 at the High School level. I can also help with basic reading and writing. I have experience teaching Executive Functioning Skills (organization, prioritizing, study skills etc). I am experienced with writing IEPs and working within Special Education. I have tutored several students over the years including 4th-8th graders, and 3 High School students. The past seven years I have been teaching a HS Health class. If you would like support in regards to 504's or IEPs I can do that as well. Finally, I teach part time at De Anza College (Psyc). Please note that my in-person tutoring rate is $100/hr, Mountain View, Los Altos, and Palo Alto only please. My online rate is $80/hr (any city!) Thank you!
