About Jeanette

Hi there! I'm an intentional, caring, and creative caretaker, facilitator, and educator with about a decade of experience supporting children and families independently and in groups in community & nonprofit organizations and in schools. I have cared from children ages 1-18 in various capacities including in the home, as an art educator, providing nutritional meals, promoting learning and education, sharing tools for emotional and mental regulation. I am passionate about connecting with children and youth and meeting them where they're at, learning with them, and encouraging creative exploration. During the week, I work a flexible schedule as a substitute teacher for K-12. My strengths are in supporting children and youth with various mental, emotional, and educational needs using creative / art practices, culturally competent frameworks, and lessons from the natural environment. .
