Hi everyone. I transitioned from refugee resettlement to elementary education two years ago. I speak two languages: Spanish and English. I am working on becoming fluent in a third language. I have worked with children since I was in high school at an afterschool program. Part of my responsibilities include homework help. I cared for my nine month and 4-year-old cousins in the summer when I was in college, and worked for NYC Parks & Recreation as a playground associate. The purpose of the program was to keep kids active by organizing games and activities. Also, I have nine years of experience coaching volleyball (ages ranging from 10-18 y/o).
