I have been a caregiver for 9 years, I've had the pleasure of working with a range of youth - senior. I helped with their daily living needs. I have provided companionship - full hands on assistance and everything in between. My approach to the care I provide is a gentle and compassionate one, patient and understanding. I'm ready to help with what is needed and can adapt to different needs that the occasion calls for. I had workshops through the agency I worked with that helped me advance my knowledge in nutrition, fall prevention, and body mechanics to a clear understanding of how to safely transfer patients. These classes improved my performance, and benefited the patients as their safety is assured. For me seeing people comfortable, and at ease with their care is what matters the most. I am a certified Home Health Aid, and I also have my CPR/ first-aid certification.
