During the summer while in high school, I was a full time nanny for two different families. Working with children from a wide age range, starting at 6 months to 10 years old I have always loved being around kids! At home in Minnesota, I also work at Sea Life Minnesota which is a family attraction where families can come and enjoy what the aquarium has to offer. While working there, I have the opportunity to assist with birthday parties, sleepovers and tours which gives me more hands-on time with the kids personally. As a student at the University of Missouri, I am involved with A Way With Words and Numbers which is a club where I can volunteer my time to tutor kids in the Columbia school district (during school hours) in both reading and math. This gives me more time to hang out and work with kids all while furthering their education and my joy for kids!
