About Jazmine

My diverse professional background has allowed me to thrive as a long-term care provider to multiple families. As part of my bachelor's degree, I completed a one-year internship at a Human Services Agency, where I worked with Resource Families within Children's Services. This experience sparked my passion for working with families and supporting children of all ages, from newborns to 17-year-olds, who came from diverse backgrounds and had varying needs. During this time, I also received extensive training in trauma-informed care. I developed specialized knowledge in understanding the behavior and capabilities of children with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental or learning disabilities. In 2024, I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a 3. 94 GPA and was inducted into Alpha Chi and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. In addition, I will be pursuing my Master of Social Work (MSW) as the first step toward becoming a therapist.
