I primarily provide overnight support to help clients achieve sleep relief. I also help create safe sleep routines for newborns and toddlers so clients don't need the night support. However, every child is unique and there is no one set way to do things. It is important to explore those opportunities to learn more about our kids through play-based experiences. I have held various overnight roles for past 4 years. Currently, I am a doula for a minority-owned agency called Doulas by the Bay. Here I help clients achieve lactation goals, sleep relief, and collect data on feeding, diapering, sleep patterns. Prior to this, I was a residential counselor for a youth homeless shelter. Part of my role was to implement framework of changed behavior models into their day to day life. Other roles I worked include MHW supporting the mental recovery of youth within an in-patient facility and RBT caregiver supporting autistic youth and young adults.
