I have had 3 years of experience working with the elderly. My most recent had been a male who has frontal temporal lobe dementia. I would prepare meals, make sure medication was given, run errands, and at times just sat together and watched tv. Other times, we sat outside to bird watch, go for walks, or go out for lunch. At times, I would stay overnight when his wife would go out of town anywhere from 5- 6 days at a time. I enjoyed keeping him company and hearing stories about his past times. I am attentive, responsible, and trustworthy. I really enjoy being a caretaker.
