Jazmin started working with our family in February ’24 when our prior nanny had to move to Florida for personal reasons. That nanny had been with us since my first son was 8 weeks old, and she was an integral part of our family. It felt like it would be impossible to find a replacement who would be as good…until we found Jazmin. Jazmin got up to speed quickly & my son quickly grew very attached to her. The only reason we’re parting ways with Jazmin is because our previous nanny is coming back to SF and will be moving in with us, affording us more childcare flexibility because of some crazy work schedules. Jazmin has a perfect temperament for working with children – she’s calm and patient, but she can also effectively enforce boundaries with even the most willful toddler. Jazmin is incredibly professional, and she has excellent communication skills. She’s very reliable – never late and always gives ample notice for days off or vacation time. Jazmin took our son out for activities every day – whether it was to a park, museum, swim lessons, etc. She was excellent at sharing updates from their day with cute photos. She would patiently read to our son, who has an insatiable appetite for books. And she prepared amazing & nutritious meals (lunch and dinner) and snacks for our son. We’ve had a lot of change in our lives in the last couple of months – with a new home and new baby – and Jazmin has been a stabilizing force for our son. We feel lucky to have worked with Jaz, and know the next family she works with will be very lucky, too.
