Experience: 3 yrs
Hello!! I graduated high school last year with my CDA, CPR certification, and First aid training. I was in a 4 year program learning how to properly care for a child depending on what stage they are at in their lives, also while actively working in a preschool. Since then I have worked as a preschool substitute at different schools in the area, working with kids ages 1-5. My mom owned a daycare as I was growing up, so it has always been a dream of mine follow in her steps. I have three younger siblings my family adopted, and I have been there every step of the way, helping out, being the best I can for them! I have experience babysitting from a younger age not just with my siblings, but their friend's families, and neighbors. Working with so many kids definitely has made an impact on my life, I have a huge heart and all I want for each of these children is to feel as loved, safe, cared for, and happy as they can be!

Jaymee interviewed for a nanny position to take care of my son in early November, said she could work until late January. First, her profile said $15-$17 but said her usual rate was $20. I told her we were paying $17 and she said that would work for her. She started on a Wednesday and the day before she started she told me she had forgotten an appointment on Friday so I told her she didn’t have to work that day trying to be flexible. The next Monday and Tuesday my son cried a lot while with her and I even thought he could be sick (he wasn’t, she was just not interested in interacting with him) the following Tuesday she told me my house was too far (she knew the address from the beginning) and that she had interviewed with a different family so that would be her last week. As if the short notice was not enough then she texted me on Wednesday, one hour before she had to be at my house and said she was not feeling well, then proceeded to text me that afternoon telling me she was taking the rest of the week off to rest. I don’t have any family in the state and could not find anyone on short notice so my husband and I had to wake up at 4:00 AM and go to bed late to get our jobs done. On Friday she texted me and I honestly did not even look at the text because I was so mentally drained, then on Saturday morning she texted me saying my behavior was “unprofessional” and I needed to send her the money so she wouldn’t “escalate” the situation. Worst experience with a nanny EVER!
