About Jaylen

Hi! My name is Jaylen I love being a sitter/caregiver because I find it incredibly rewarding to foster the development and well-being of children. My experience over the last four years at the YMCA has given me the opportunity to work with children from 10 months to 15 years old, leading daily programs for over 90 children, including summer camps and after-school programs. I was responsible for creating and implementing engaging activities that promoted social, emotional, and cognitive development, while also supervising and mentoring a team of staff. I worked closely with families to maintain open communication and provide updates on children's progress. My skills in activity design, time management, creativity, problem-solving, and leadership, combined with certifications in First Aid, CPR/AED, and administering emergency oxygen, equip me to handle emergencies effectively and ensure a nurturing and safe environment for children.
