About Jayla

Hello everyone ! My name is Jayla ! I am currently a 20-year-old full time masters student at VCU for family and marriage counseling. I have over with over 4 years of experience working with children. I also have one year of experience working with children who have autism. My passion lies in nurturing the growth and development of young minds. My patient and friendly nature, paired with my creativity and imagination, allows me to create a nurturing and engaging environment for children to thrive in. My expertise lies in caring for children between the ages of one to 13 years old. I am comfortable caring for up to two children at a time and am happy to assist with cooking meals and light housekeeping tasks. I am a certified in First Aid and CPR, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in my care. I find great joy in playing outdoor sports and physical games with children, as well as engaging them in board games and puzzles.
