About Jayda

I'm an 18-year-old freshman in college majoring in early childhood education and minoring in psychology. I have four years of paid experience in different forms of childcare, from babysitting to being a camp counselor, ages newborn to pre-teen. I have 5 years of volunteer experience working with the Recess, an urban youth baseball organization. I am a very entertaining, fun, and energetic person, I love to read, play games, and interact with children. I'm patient and very understanding, I enjoy teaching children and listening to new ideas and thoughts they bring. I gained this trait when I started babysitting my cousins and my mom's friend's children. I'm skilled in caretaking, housekeeping, diaper changing, keeping up with schedules, and sleep strategies.
