About Jayci

I am a special education teacher in the Pittsburgh area. I received my bachelor's degree from Point Park University in Early Childhood Education (PreK-6th) and Special Education (PreK-12th). I am currently working on a master's degree in learning, design, and technology through Point Park and will finish in December 2025! I have experience with tutoring post-graduation and being a live-in nanny to a child who is non-verbal and Autistic throughout college. I have tutored many summers with students who have IEPs. When a student has an IEP and the parent presents me with the IEP I identify the goals the student has and provide materials and instruction to help them work towards their goals. I am able to track progress and even provide a progress report for parents showing growth across the summers! When school begins I am available for after-school tutoring. During the summer I have ESY with my students Monday through Thursday until July 3rd. After ESY my availability completely opens up!
