About Jaycey

Hi there, my name is Jaycey and I am an Early Childhood Special Education teacher, looking for a little extra work. I work with children with a wide range needs. I have worked with children on the autism spectrum, with developmental delays, with down syndrome, and children with different sensory needs. This is currently my 6th year as a special education teacher I graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a bachelors degree in Special Education along with Early Childhood Education. I have spent a lot of time babysitting as a teen and am very flexible with hours and available short notice. I have also worked in a variety of environments aside from school. I spent three summers at Bright Minds Educational Programs which was a day camp specializing in programs for children with autism. I personally believe kids learn best when they're actively engaged and enjoying themselves, I love to be outside and active, so walks & trips to the park can always be on the agenda
