I'd describe my personality as calm, compassionate, patient, resourceful, simple but knowledgeable. I care for people with special needs because the love of God for them dwells in me. I have exceptional feedback from the nursing homes I've worked. I'm looking for a special needs client that gives me the opportunity to earn while protecting their dignity. Since high school or even kindergarten I've been an advocate and friends for the unique and vulnerable. In my spare time, I love to cook, read or catch up on illustrations for my book. I'm also currently pursuing my studies in medicine. One thing you should know about me is that I'm Caribbean. I love to cook and advocate for my clients wishes, and promote their independence. Some of my skills include nutrition, bed baths, catheter care, operating hoyer lifts, toileting, grooming, vital signs and companionship.
