I have spent time as an Assistant Creative Arts Therapist at Heartsong where I worked with a youth special needs population in an educational and therapeutic setting. In this environment I built trust with group members while familiarizing myself with a holistic approach to personal growth and self empowerment. I succeeded in this role and gained valuable experience working with people who have special needs.
