About Jason

Hi, my name is Jason! I'm a second-year student and varsity swimmer at NYU. I'm responsible, detail-oriented, and great with kids. I worked as a Head Summer School Teacher for a class of 12 incoming 6th graders, teaching math, English, arts and crafts, and gym. I also supervised kids ages 5-12 in after-care at pools, zoos, museums, and trampoline parks , ensuring their safety and engagement. As a competitive swimmer, I've spent the past three summers teaching private swim lessons to children and elderly clients of all skill levels. I also hold a Red Cross lifeguard certification, meaning I'm trained in CPR, first aid, and water safety. Fluent in English and Korean, I can engage with bilingual children and help Korean-American kids with language learning. Having a younger brother, I naturally connect with little kids.
